Since 1990, the International Business Leaders Forum (IBLF) has been an independent, global members organization of over 100 leading multinational companies. We work across the sectors of business, government and civil society focusing on critical sustainability, growth and leadership issues. IBLF believes that traditional growth will soon be hampered as we run into limitations in natural resources and human capacity. Forward looking companies need to find new ways of doing business and 'redefine growth' in order to not just survive, but thrive. Smart growth will require profound changes in the way business and society in general consume resources. Nowhere is this more critical than in the area of water. IBLF develops and implements practical programs for corporate engagement in responsible water stewardship. Specifically, we seek to increase engagement between the private sector and other stakeholders on water issues and promote a legitimate role for business in sound public water management.
