USGS Nevada Water Science Center

USGS operates hundreds of data collection sites in Nevada for acquiring information on surface water, groundwater, water quality, and precipitation.

USGS New Mexico Water Science Center

The USGS provides current ("real-time") stream stage and streamflow, water-quality, and groundwater levels for over 130 sites in New Mexico.

USGS Utah Water Science Center

The USGS provides current ("real-time") stream stage and streamflow, water-quality, and ground-water level data for over 130 sites in Utah.

USGS Wyoming Water Science Center

The USGS Wyoming Water Science Center offers water-resource information collected and interpreted by the U.S. Geological Survey in Wyoming.

Water Resources Data System, University of Wyoming

The Water Resources Data System (WRDS) is a clearinghouse of hydrological and climatological data for the State of Wyoming. WRDS is funded by the Wyoming Water Development Office and housed within the Department of Civil and Architectural Engineering at the University of Wyoming. The Wyoming State Climate Office (SCO) is a branch of WRDS, and together they provide a variety of services ranging from the development of enhanced drought-monitoring products to the online dissemination of water resources publications. WRDS and the SCO also support a variety of stakeholder groups by assisting in the development of the State Water Plan and helping to coordinate long-term monitoring efforts throughout the region.

Water Resources Research Center, University of Arizona

The WRRC strives to promote the understanding of important state and regional water management and policy issues. The Center encourages further scientific research, conducts community outreach, educates the public, and assists communities with water management and policy.

Western Water Assessment - University of Colorado at Boulder

The WWA aims to identify and characterize regional vulnerabilities to climate variability and change, and to develop information, products and processes to assist water-resource decision-makers throughout the Intermountain West. It maintains a Colorado River page that includes headings for Law and Policy, River Use Management and Planning, Regional Hydrology and Geography, Climate Variability and Change, Drought Impacts and Management, Restoration and Conservation, and Management and Research Organizations, among others.
