Connect International and ACK will create the Aqua Clara H2OPE (Water Products and Expertise) Accelerator to provide long-term WASH related training, control, support and advisory services which will support an increase in the number, scope and quality of WASH initiatives and greatly expand access to safe water and sanitation in Kenya and East Africa.The main focus of the Accelerator will be to enhance low cost WASH value chains in areas. If for instance in an area there is a (believed and not or not sufficiently developed) potential for low cost WASH solutions for the BoP and an organisation or government in this area wishes to develop this potential it can contract the Accelerator to investigate and develop the value chains for the highest potential low cost WASH solutions.
